We will accept spring clothing starting February 15, 2011. Please call us at 714-9796 before you come. Consignors, you can stay updated on your account 24-7 right here.
Items Accepted:
Boys and Girls clothing - in season; current styles; sizes preemie to 16
Shoes in excellent condition
Clean toys in working order with all parts and BATTERIES
Outdoor play equipment
Books, DVDs, and video games
Baby/Children’s furniture
Non-Acceptable Items:
Clothing that is out of style, out of season, faded, torn, stained, or has an odor.
Clothes in bags
Recalled items
Puzzles
Car seats
VCR tapes
Bean bags and sleeping bags
Board games
Rugs
We can no longer accept these clothing brands:
Faded Glory, George, Xhilleration, Cherokee, Wonder Kids, Simply Basic, Kid Connection, White Stag, No Boundaries, Basic Editions, Little Me.
Acceptance Procedures:
You may bring in items anytime during normal business hours.
*30 item limit on all clothing
*10 item limit on sizes 0-18 months
We will inspect your items while you wait, if possible. If you choose to drop off your items for later inspection, we reserve the right to donate items we cannot use.
Preparation of items:
All clothing must be washed, pressed and folded neatly or on hangers.
Please make sure all toys and baby items, furniture, etc are clean and free of stains. Toys need to be quality enough for us to put $10 or more on them.
Pricing Policy:
Kendall’s Kloset will price your items for you, and display them in the store for 60 days.
Items are marked down two times within the 60 day period.
The consignor will receive 50% of the selling price.
Payment Policy:
Checks for more than $10 can be picked up between the 15th and 20th of every month.
Payment can be used as store credit at any time.
Unsold Items:
Consignors must call Kendall’s Kloset when their consignment period is up (60 days) if they wish to pick up unsold items. We do not call consignors when their consignment period is over.
On day 65 the items will be donated to charity without additional notice.
